How to clean up after being “egged”

If your home or car has been egged, it is best to run warm (not hot!) water over it as soon as possible. Hot water will cook the egg and it will adhere harder than before. After rinsing use high alkaline detergents and soaps. Acidic cleaners such as vinegar or citrus will make the problem worse by making the egg coagulate.
